Pitto (Pty) Ltd is a fully grower owned export company, looking after the marketing and logistics of the farms. We are very proud of having achieved 50% of all our table grapes to be produced without detectable residues. We believe in farming with nature rather than against and using fungi and natural predators to control pests. Quality over quantity is key in the fresh produce sector.
Our Founder, Tokka van den Hever, has been exporting his grapes since 1997, previously mostly through third party exporters and from 2006 via own exports through Pitto (Pty) Ltd. Pitto is a 100% grower owned company operating out of South Africa.
We believe in BETTER rather than BIGGER, ensuring a premium quality product being delivered via the shortest, most effective supply chain to the doorstep of our valued global partners.
It is small enough to be adaptable, allowing it to produce product to individual customer specifications. Pitto has a history of innovation, and is constantly improving the product it supplies.
